President's Update: November 2022

I cannot say enough or more sincerely how much I appreciate your donations, support, and membership. As we continue to crawl out from under the Coronavirus and the difficulties of the economy, I think we should all take time to be grateful for all we have and are fortunate to enjoy.

All of us at the Flying Leatherneck Historical Foundation want to wish each of you an incredibly happy holiday season and new year.

To protect our Nation’s ideals, America turns to its Always Faithful. Those who share an uncommon bond for a common cause. Who fights until they win in the battles not everyone can fight. For the promises that America has made. For the promise that America is. Marines remain true to our motto of Semper Fidelis – “Always Faithful.”

Your year-end gift is critically important because it will allow us to expand our display and exhibit planning and development, complete our inventory, begin conservation and care of the many micro-artifacts, and pay for and support our small, dedicated staff and volunteers that support this project and educational programs. We cannot run, and our network and outreach cannot grow and thrive without their hard work and dedication.

Your donations and gifts will help save the forty-plus aircraft and artifacts of the museum, many of which are stored outside, exposed to the environment with little or no maintenance or preservation.

We need your help to protect the only collection in the world dedicated to Marine Corps Aviation and honor the men and women who served, educated, and inspired every generation with their contributions.
